Is Instacart a job???

No, not really Instacart is not a job! You are brought on as a Third-party, Individual, Independent Contractor/freelancer. 

Which basically means You are your own boss and you work when  you can and or feel like it 😎

You will need to keep up with your own tax paperwork however which, I talk about in the video review above & And a later section of this Blog.

Is Instacart money good or worth it?

Heck Yeah! The people you are Picking up orders for Usually have disposable income. Which is why they're having you deliver for them. 🤔Think about it...🤔No offense to other Apps, but you were not picking up fast food, therefore your customer's budget is a lot higher ranged than Someone who wants a $1 Cheeseburger from McDonald's. 

Day 1 I received a $30 tip On my first Batch ( That is what they call the load/order of groceries.

No tricks or hidden fees. Whatever is reported on the app is what you earn. Also, people can give cash tips :) 

In just 4 days I made about $600! 

Below are my earnings for week one. That $108 was just day 1!   

Instacart how does it work?

1. Sign up! ► Note if you don't want to do deliveries/you do not have a car make sure you click that option During this sign-up.  They have In-Store Shopping where you just bring them to the front counter of the store.►Or Full-Service which is In-store shopping and then Delivery to the customer's house afterward.

Be Sure to use an email you check often, Instacart is really good at communicating with its shoppers! 

2. After you have signed up Instacart will make you download the app & you wait a few days till Instacart sends you (in the mail) the green payment master card you see above. 

(while you wait it would be a good idea to try the demo on the app & to buy Thermal control insulated bags & download this mileage tracker)

3. After you get the Instacart payment card in the mail you are just about ready to start Instacart ! Inside the App You'll enter the Instacart payment card number & information to Activate it.  It should be obvious  but you may not use this card for anything but this Instacart app 😂

When you enter the information: This will trigger a background check. If you have a clean record it will clear. Mines only took a few hours.

4. After your Background check is Cleared you are all set to start picking up hours!

5. Pick any day and time that are available for the week (they open up & close all the time) & In the location that you feel like working and you're all good to go!

6. When you are on Full-Service duty hours. You will hear a sound. When you get a batch (As I mentioned batches are just orders).

Batches work by proximity & Availability. So Most often you'll be chosen to go to the stores very close to you. 

7. You drive to the store Instacart Tells you to pick up a batch & you get everything that the customer has ordered. You must scan all items that is how Instacart & the Customer knows You found the right things.

You are graded by speed & accuracy.

Tip: Customers like when you are in constant contact with them When you have issues. Always verify with them before you do something you aren't sure about.

8. After you have found everything in the store you will go pay for it with the green Instacart payment master card.  Then it will GPS you to The customer's house.

9. Drive to the customer's house. Help or let them unload, Smile, help out when needed and watch your tips go up!💰💰💰💰

10. Do it again whenever you feel like it & Get paid lots of money💰💰💰 Direct deposits to your bank account (at the moment of writing this) every Wednesday and Friday Morning!!!

In short, it's basically a way for you to get tax money back because you USE YOUR CAR FOR BUSINESS!!!

Track all the things you do for and with your car! Gas, Maintenance, and yes even Miles traveled during Business-related task.

The way Stride tax works is simple. Simply press start driving with your GPS location on and it will track the miles you drive into you hit done! At the end of the year Email a copy of your report to your tax guy or for your records to report to the IRS if you do your own taxes.

At the end of the year, you will get a Fat Refund or owe, less or No money!

 The final Verdict...

Fun fact: Jam1 really does hate driving, but I must say Insacart Is on my top 10 list In life as like one of the easiest and most fun ways to make money on the side. In just one week I was able to pay for my entire trip to Florida!  

How can an extra $100 a day help you? Bills, food, trips, books, fun things? etc. 

If you're a serial entrepreneur, a broke college student or just want Some extra spending money. I want to 100% no, 1000% Suggest you give Instacart a try! 

You become a blessing to someone else who either doesn't want to or cannot do the shopping for themselves. 🤑🤑🤑And you make Wads of cash doing so!🤑🤑🤑

Why not 10/10? Well the only part I hate Is buying vegetables/Produce /Fruits😂

My other warning to you is...Don't get stuck treating Instacart like a job! It is good money but if you have your own company to run don't invest all your time into this app. Use it as a tool to supplement & enhance your income instead! :)
